MAU Bedwas Ward at Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr (YYF) are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our friendly team.
Bedwas Ward consists of 28 en suite rooms. We specialise in Acute Medicine, and also have a 14 bed Emergency Frailty Unit, supported by an EFU team. The medical assessment Unit is a 9 bed assessment unit which takes medical referrals from MIU and GP’s.
This post is open to all registered nurses and we offer a supportive induction programme to ensure staff are given the skills to work in all areas, which will include shifts throughout the 24 hour period. We foster a continuous learning working environment including simulation scenarios on the ward, and have a ANP's and Medics in the area who are keen to provide teaching and support.
We are looking for innovative and enthusiastic individuals who will adopt a patient centered approach to care, and in return offer the opportunity to work with a skilled team who are keen to develop staff and their clinical skills.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
