An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full time (37.5 hours) permanent Deputy Ward Manager (Band 6) position to work as part of our dedicated team within the Older Adult Mental Health in-patient service on Hafan Deg Ward, Ty Siriol Unit, County Hospital, Pontypool.

We are looking for an RMN who are highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic, who can demonstrate an enthusiasm for the ongoing development of the inpatient service and who has the clinical experience to lead by example on clinical duties to ensure high standards of care are delivered and maintained to patient care.

A key role is to provide support to patients and their families/loved ones during the admission and facilitate safe discharge.
