Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) is seeking a part time Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to provide a specialist service to people with Stroke and Acquired Brain Injury within the Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service.
The Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service works across acute and community services, providing specialist skills to support the provision of neuro-rehabilitation in people’s homes. This developing service is currently supporting people with stroke and acquired brain injury.
The successful candidate will provide specialist clinical support to patients in the community working closely with Therapy Assistant practitioners [B4 HCSWs] in the multidisciplinary team. Applicants should be innovative and enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to the ABUHB Clinical Futures care closer to home programme.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
