Band 7 Team Manager opportunity within the ABUHB Perinatal Mental Health Service. This is an exciting and rewarding role which is Gwent wide within a team that provide highly specialist support for pregnant and post natal women experiencing or at risk of serious mental illness as a reuslt of or in addition to pregnancy or post natally.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated leader to work as part of a multi -disciplinary adult community mental health. As the team lead you will be responsible for the day to day management and leadership of the team, working with the Senior Management team to ensure safe and effective implementation of service developments relevant to the team. You will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective management of all operations in the team, managing the core team responsibilities and trouble shooting operational problems.
As well as the day to day leadership of the team, you will also be responsible for supporting clinical staff to take complex decisions regarding the planning and development of programmes of care. Your role will be to ensure the service provided by the team is well organised, evidence based, recovery focused, socially inclusive and person centred, with clear clinical outcomes. Additionally you will be required to carry a small case load of patients.
This post provides an opportunity for the applicant to expand their managerial experience, existing knowledge, skills and continued professional development within acute mental health.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
