Aneurin Bevan University Health Board are committed to delivering quality services based on the needs of the people who use them. As a Peer Mentor, you will be an expert by experience, working within a multi-disciplinary team and using a person-centred, strengths based recovery approach whilst working directly with adult service users. To be a Peer Mentor, there is a requirement that you would have had experience and input from a Mental Health Service.
We are pleased to be in a position to advertise 5 Peer Mentor positions within Adult Mental Health Services. The positions will be available in the following services:
- We have three full-time positions available in our three Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams (CR/HTT). All CR/HTT positions are based in Gwent. The three teams have offices in Caerphilly, Newport and Tofaen.
- We have one full time position available in our Veterans service.
- We have one full time position available with our Peri Natal Meantal Health Team.
Please let us know in your supporting information which position you would like to apply for, this could be one or all. The roles will include some administrative duties, including recording on electronic patient records. You may be working with groups, individuals and agencies external to the NHS.
Due to being community services, it would be advantageous if you have a driving licence and access to your own transport.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
