THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR 2 YEARS DUE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Band 5 Senior Clinical Applications Officer/Product Specialist. Based within the Informatics Department, you will provide expert knowledge, support and training to staff within the health board.

The role will be part will be part of the Informatics Programme Department providing support and training within the Ophthalmology Project. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage their time effectively and proven experience of supporting an IT system.

The successful candidate must have a good knowledge of Health Board IT Systems, IT equipment and Windows applications, especially Microsoft Suite and be approachable and professional in dealing with people.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
