Senior Nurse Continuing NHS Healthcare & Safeguarding
The Complex Care Team for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking to recruit motivated individuals with excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills into locality Senior Nurse positon with responsibility for Continuing NHS Healthcare and Safeguarding. Successful post holder will work in partnership with health, social care and independent sector staff leading both CHC and safeguarding issues for ABUHB’s Complex Care Team. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a knowledge, understanding and application of the legislative frameworks, policies and procedures in respect of CHC and Sustainability, Safeguarding, Mental Capacity, Best Interests and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and awareness of proposed legislation changes.
A key element of this post is collaborative working with other health, social care and independent professional groups in a range of care settings. Essential to the post is the ability to provide expert and skilled clinical advice and support to individuals and teams. Experience of managing teams, complex professional and family situations, disputes, implementing efficiencies for continuous quality improvement, awareness of financial resources and experience in adult protection investigations and complaints are key components of this post.
This is a challenging, yet rewarding role and we are looking for individual who are passionate to deliver positive experience for patients and who are committed and flexible to work in these complex areas of work.
This post will be based at Cwmbran House, Mamhilad Park Estate, Pontypool although the work will be focused in the localities of appointed post holders.
The locality allocated to this post will be determined following interviews.
