An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Clincal Support Worker for the Vascular Laboratory service at the Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr Hospital. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual wishing to join our team in the Vascular Laboratory. We will be developing the vascular service to meet the needs of our patients and therefore the post holder will need to work flexibly to meet service needs.
You will be required to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, duties to include chaperoning, supporting and assisting patients, preparation of examination rooms and equipment, transport of patients and participation in clerical duties. These duties will cover vascular laboratory service within the Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr Hospital and Nevill Hall Hospital. There will be occasions when the post holder will be required to attend other sites within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board primarily to assist other vascular departments, or for training sessions. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who would like to work in a caring, but sometimes demanding environment. You will need to be flexible in your approach to this challenging role.
Please note it is a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) for this post-holder to be female due to the patient group.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
