The Grange University Hospital is a new state of the art hospital that will open in 2021, it will provide a new model of care for our patients. With more than 40 different specialties and 470 beds, our specialists will work together under one roof to create a centre of excellence.
We are an integrated health board which serves a population of 600,000, employing more than 13,000 staff, with a budget of more than £1 billion.

We are looking for 3 enthusiastic, patient-focused, innovative PA’s who would complement a multi-disciplinary team of consultants, junior doctors, nursing staff and therapists and enjoy the prospect of working within the professionally challenging and dynamic environment of very busy hospitals. As a health board we provide a consultant led ward service and fully staffed MAU providing 13 hour consultant cover. We encourage multidisciplinary working and are well supported through our excellent radiology, therapy and pharmacy services. The department of medicine comprises all major specialties including cardiology, gastroenterology, respiratory medicine, care of the elderly, endocrinology, neurology and stroke.
At Aneurin Bevan we offer excellent opportunities for education and training and through the dedicated support of an experienced clinical education lead and a lead PA, the post holder will be encouraged to develop and enhance their skill set with regular personal appraisals and opportunities for development.

This role maybe be offered under annex 21 for newly qualified PAs whilst completing their internship.
All applicants must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Associate Training Programme and Registered with the UK of Managed Voluntary Registry for Physician Associates.
The ability to speak welsh is desirable for this post.
