THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR 4 MONTHS DUE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE
An opportunity has arisen to apply for registered nurse posts to work on our extra capacity Winter Ward. This is an exciting opportunity if you want to gain experience across the breadth of specialties within Medicine. It is envisaged this ward will be an extension of D1W facilitating short lengths of stay and proactive discharge planning.
If you are looking for new challenges this post is a great opportunity for you. You will be expected to work as part of the Multidisciplinary Team on the Unit and be actively involved in providing high standards of quality care. You will also be expected to demonstrate a high level of nursing assessment and clinical care skills by supporting Band 2 HCSW’s in their professional development within this dedicated environment. In addition you will be required to provide support and advice to patients and their families/carers. You will be expected to facilitate safe, effective and timely discharges of patients.
We are seeking enthusiastic proactive dynamic nurses to join this new team. If you thrive on a challenge and feel that you have the qualities and interpersonal skills, this will be the post for you.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply
