An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse on Ward C5 West at the Royal Gwent Hospital.
Candidates should be forward thinking, be able to demonstrate good clinical and assessment skills and able to manage the team in the absence of the ward sister. The ability to support the ward sister in managing the ward in a fast paced and challenging environment; to demonstrate excellent communication, decision-making and motivational skills along with patient centred care are essential qualities for this post
You will need to demonstrate continuing professional development and have an understanding of how to improve and provide safe, quality care for patients and their relatives.

Significant post registration experience of working in an acute area is a requirement for the role.
