Specialty Doctor in Otorhinolaryngology
Anticipated Start Date: June 2018
Based at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport, SE Wales
An exciting opportunity has arisen to enhance and support Otorhinolaryngology service provision linked to the New Specialist and Critical Care, Aneurin Bevan Grange University Hospital.
Applications are invited for the post of Specialty Doctor in Otorhinolaryngology based at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport with sessions in Nevill Hall Hospital , Abergavenny and Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr Hospital. The post is available from June 2018
The successful candidate will join the 8 existing Consultants, 4 Specialist Registrars, 1 Specialty Doctors and 5 Junior Doctors in the provision of the specialist and routine ENT services within the department. A full range of ENT surgery is carried out. Close relationships are maintained with Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Radiotherapy and Dermatological Departments. There is an active Postgraduate Centre.
The suitably qualified clinician will join the 2nd On-call joint rota on a 1:10 with UHW. The contract will be for 10 sessions plus on-call supplement
Free parking is available across all Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Sites.
