The Health Board has automated pharmacy systems and a comprehensive medicines management service including electronic discharge.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated clinical pharmacist to join our innovative pharmacy team at the Royal Gwent Hospital. A rotational programme of clinical specialities is offered to ensure individual development with specialist support. In this role you will build on previous experience, developing greater autonomy and responsibility whilst working within a multi-disciplinary team.
As a conscientious and forward-thinking individual you will have responsibility for the delivery of a high quality clinical service and working within service development projects. You will work closely with and be supported by the Divisional Lead Pharmacists to continue your development in pharmacy practice. The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and excellent communication skills are an essential part of this role.
The Royal Gwent Hospital is based in Newport on the M4 corridor allowing easy access to the vibrant capital city and the beautiful landscapes of South Wales. We encourage life-long learning and post-graduate education will be actively supported.
We are willing to consider part time or flexible working solutions and would encourage an informal visit.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
