A number of exciting opportunities have become available for pharmacists to provide a clinical service and directorate support to medical specialties within Unscheduled Care (USC). This is for existing 8a pharmacists working within ABUHB to specialise, or existing band 7 pharmacists working towards an 8a post.
In these posts, you will be responsible for managing, leading, developing and delivering directorate support across ABUHB. As a conscientious and forward-thinking individual you will have responsibility for the delivery of a high quality service and working within service development projects.
Opportunities include providing support to the Unscheduled Care (USC) specialties – respiratory, gastroenterology, neurology, endocrinology and cardiology. If successful, appointed pharmacists will provide a dedicated ward based pharmacy service at their base and directorate support for the clinical speciality of their choice.
These posts will support the Unscheduled Care Divisional (USC) Pharmacist for ensuring delivery of the cost savings agenda throughout USC. The applicants will work in collaboration with the USC Divisional to lead, develop and improve pharmaceutical care for patients within ABUHB.
Applicants must demonstrate a broad-based clinical knowledge and have evidence of excellent communication skills. The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and being enthusiastic and innovative are an essential part of this role.
The ability to speak welsh is desirable for this post.
