Pre-Analytical Supervisor, Pathology

Applications are invited for the post of part time Pre-Analytical Supervisor within the Pathology Department. The post will be based at the Royal Gwent Hospital however rotation to new The Grange and Nevill Hall Hospitals will be required as and when necessary. This is an exciting opportunity to work as a key member of the Pathology team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking person to join our team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the smooth running of day to day operations of the Pre-Analytical area of Blood Sciences and to participate in the provision of service. The role includes the supervision and training of staff in accordance with all ABUHB standards and protocols. The post holder will ensure that the service provided is appropriate to the needs of users and the laboratory

Full training will be given although previous experience may be beneficial.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
