THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 6 MONTHS DUE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Pathology directorate for two full or part time Band 3 posts to support the implementation of Electronic Test Requesting (ETR) especially for Covid testing on a three month secondment or temporary contract. We are looking for individuals who have good knowledge across a range of informatics or biomedical procedures, and an understanding of NHS workflows.

The role includes assisting the Pathology Informatics Manager/team in the implementation, administration and support of electronic test requesting, and to provide point of contact support to users of ETR system including the logging of all calls/emails and implementation of potential solutions.

The successful candidates will need to possess IT skills, be able to prioritise work, and have demonstrable expertise in a wide range of administrative tasks.

Please note these posts are on a 6 month secondment or temporary contract.

Part time hours and job share will be considered and the ability to travel between sites is essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
