The successful applicant will have day-to-day operational responsibility for the Neurodevelopmental, CHC and CALDS services working across the 3 sector ISCAN service. They will work in close collaboration with senior managers in the division, clinical directors in both CAMHS and paediatric directorates, liaising effectively with internal and external partners to assure high quality services.

The successful applicant will carry a clincial caseload and provide expertise in the assessment and management of children with ASD / ADHD or learning disabilities. They will be responsible for the management of the waiting list for this group of children working closely with ISCAN co-ordinators and administrators to ensure the delivery of an efficient and effective service. The scope of the role is wide within the health board as liaison and collaboration will be required with a range of partners, such as Primary Care Mental Health, to ensure that children are referred and assessed in the most appropriate part of the overall service. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills as well as highly developed skills in problem solving, negotiation, budget and resource management.

This is an excellent role for a highly experienced clinican who is looking for a service leadership challenge in an area of clinical service delivery that is highly topical at the moment and where improved child and family outcomes is an absolute aspiration.

Ability to speak welsh is desirable.
