THIS POST IS FIXED TERM UNTIL 31/03/2022 TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE
We are looking for an Occupational Therapy Practitioner (band 5) to join the integrated hospital Occupational Therapy team in the Royal Gwent and St Woolos Hospitals to support people with their discharge home and any ongoing rehabilitation.
This fixed-term post offers an opportunity to develop clinical skills in maximising people’s ability to engage in their chosen occupations and could find you supporting people in hospital or their home.
We offer regular supervision with skilled and experienced specialist staff; a preceptorship programme to support newly qualified practitioners; an annual appraisal and a variety of opportunities for your continuing professional development.
Occupational Therapy is a highly valued service within the health board and we are strongly committed to service development, standard setting, clinical effectiveness and lifelong learning. We are keen to recruit occupational therapists that are ready to work in an occupational therapy service that is actively developing and changing to meet the needs of the people that we serve.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
