The Newport Integrated OT Service is looking for a skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to work with people admitted to the Royal Gwent and St Woolos Hospitals.
Our vision is of a highly skilled, experienced, dynamic and flexible workforce that has the ability and confidence to work across the hospital and community meeting a person's ongoing occupational therapy needs through seamless transfer of care.
You will be expected to demonstrate your underpinning knowledge in occupational Therapy philosophy, process and practice in the following areas:
in-patient and community rehabilitation
rapid discharge planning
discharge to assess
outreach following an in-patient stay
working with third sector and voluntary service to support discharge.
