Consultant Neurophysiologist
Based at The Royal Gwent Hospital
Part Time (08 Sessions)
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP
Closing Date for Applications: Midnight on 15th March 2021
The Department of Clinical Neurophysiology is currently looking to recruit a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Neurophysiologist to lead our dynamic and diverse team. We have excellent expertise in our Health Care Scientists and they continue to develop and enhance these roles. Previously we have received Consultant Neurophysiology support from our neighbouring Neuroscience Centre. We are now expanding into four sites and feel this is an ideal time to have our own Consultant to drive further expansion. We have excellent relationships with other Neurophysiology Centres that will facilitate collaboration and benchmarking. Both the Neurophysiology team and the wider Neuroscience team in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board are highly active in Education and Research.
We have set aside time in the job plan for service development, teaching and research. We are a welcoming, collaborative, forward-thinking group of individuals and we seek an enthusiastic new member of our team to take Neurophysiology to the next level in our Health Board. The key next steps for us are inpatient and ambulatory telemetry. We also wish to increase neurophysiology support to Intensive and Critical Care.
Free parking is available across all Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Sites.
