THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR 12 MONTHS DUE TO FUNDING
The Aneurin Bevan Gwent Public Health Team is looking for an experienced Project Co-ordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to provide support for a time-limited Welsh Government funded Transformational programme to promote and protect the mental wellbeing of the population of Gwent.
One of the key responsibilities of the role will be to support the Gwent Connect 5 mental wellbeing workforce training programme. Trainers come from a wide range of local organisations so experience of working with partners, excellent communication skills and ability to work independently within agreed procedures is essential. You will be expected to organise Train the Trainer courses and Trainer Network Meetings, monitor Trainer contracts, produce evaluation reports from data collected from an online tool and be the first point of contact for our local Gwent Connect 5 trainers and information on the training programme.
You will also be expected to provide support to the Programme’s Steering Group. There will be an opportunity to attend mental wellbeing training and test the self-help resources for mental wellbeing yourself.
The successful candidate will have a professional approach, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be well organised with the ability to work on their own initiative as well as within a team environment. A flexible and adaptable approach to working is required.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
