POST: REGISTERED GENERAL NURSE
HOURS: 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK
VENUE: REGISTERED NURSE MAXILLOFACIAL DEPARTMENT
CONTRACT: FIXED TERM – 12 months
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered General Nurse to join our maxillofacial team.
The successful applicant must have an interest in the specialities, have excellent communication skills and work well in a multidisciplinary team. The applicant will work across all areas of the department, which includes theatre, recovery, ward, and clinic.
The department aims to give high quality care to their patients and the new team member must be committed to continual service improvement within these specialities.
The department is open between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday, and operates a late night rota. A comprehensive induction programme, with mentorship, support and a commitment to training and development will be offered.
The new post holder will be based in the Royal Gwent Hospital but will also be expected to cover sessions in Nevill Hall.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
