This post provides an excellent career development opportunity for a dietitian with relevant experience.
The post will be part of a team of paediatric dietitians and will work closely with experienced dietitians working in specialist areas. The post will involve providing inpatient care to children of all ages.
The post holder will be expected to provide cover to general outpatient clinics and to clinics for children with diabetes. The post holder will hold a small case load of children with diabetes and will be responsible for their dietetic management.
Experience in the areas of diabetes and/or paediatric dietetics would be beneficial, however the post is also open to experienced dietitians looking to expand their knowledge.
The post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and be required to provide education sessions to children and parents
The post holder must be able to travel across Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
Dietitians must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
