An exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Registered Nurse / Operating Department Practitioner to become a Deputy Team Leader in our very busy Day Surgery Unit at The Royal Gwent Hospital Newport.

Ideally candidates will have experience in all specialist core skills required for the care of patients during their peri-operative period on the day surgery unit, to include pre, intra and post op care.

A teaching and accessing qualification is essential as is evidence of shift / team leading experience. Please see person specification for all other essential and desirable criteria for the post.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
