The Department of Clinical Photography and Medical Illustration provides high quality photographic images to support the care of patients, diagnosis and training within the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. Our new, state of the art, purpose-built facilities at the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport provide a base from which we provide a Board-wide service.
We require an enthusiastic and committed Clinical Photographer to join our department.
You should be highly motivated, and work well as part of the team.
You should have proven experience as a Clinical Photographer, and ideally hold the Glasgow Caledonian University IMI BSc in Medical Illustration or equivalent and be AHCS registered.
Dermoscopic, Ophthalmic & Dental photography experience would be advantageous, and you must be aware of the issues surrounding patient consent, confidentiality and copyright.
This is a 10 month temporary contract to cover maternity leave.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
