Positive Behavioural Support Service / Helping Hands Team
The Proactive Positive Behavioural Support (PPBS) team and the Helping Hands team are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and compassionate colleague to facilitate and co-ordinate the administrative functioning of the service. These teams work with children with additional needs and their families and systems of support to promote emotional wellbeing and improved quality of life.
You will be expected to manage your own workload on a day to day basis and act independently to action and prioritise work to meet deadlines. Key responsibilities will include efficient diary management for the teams, audio typing clinic sessions, arranging clinical appointments and sending clinic letters, maintaining and ensuring that efficient systems and processes are in place to effectively support the functioning of the teams.
We are looking for a committed individual who can work well under pressure and think on their feet. This role is vital to the successful day to day running of the team and supports administrative, management and project functions within the team.
If you have these qualities / experience with excellent communication and organisational skills and are able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, then this is the role for you.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
