You are invited to apply for an exciting full or part time opportunity to join an innovative team, as a GP in one of the largest Primary Care Directorates in Wales. You will be part of an enthusiastic, innovative service and have increasing opportunities to work, and learn, with colleagues in Primary and Secondary care.
The positions are an exciting new development with optional cross-working arrangements between out of hours, in-hours sessions in Practices and supporting care in an Acute setting e.g. A&E, Medical Assessment Unit, and Paediatrics. Appointees will be able to negotiate a bespoke job plan taking into account their experience and ambitions. There are full time and part time salaried opportunities available. The posts offer opportunities for personal and professional development and audit.
The post holders will also have the opportunity to participate in the Primary Care Support Team, established to support in-hours General Practice. This multi-disciplinary team will provide clinical services to practices directly managed by the Health Board and will support service continuity and quality improvement initiatives in practices serviced by independent contractors. As well as direct clinical care the work of team members may involve leading on specific aspects of service improvement and development, education and research.

The working pattern between In Hours Practice Support Team will be agreed in a job plan. Candidates will have the opportunity to agree roles based across In-Hours and Out of Hours settings if they wish.

Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC and hold a Licence to Practice. Applicants must also be on the GMC GP Register and have gained entry on the Welsh GP Performers List before taking up their post.
