Clinical Futures – Associate Capital Project Director

3 Years Fixed Term or Secondment

Have you got good experience in managing large capital health projects and are you looking for another exciting challenge, a once in a lifetime career opportunity? If so this could be a great opportunity for you. At Aneurin Bevan University Health Board we are working together to create the future environment for exceptional healthcare.  Building of our brand new £350 million specialist and critical care centre, The Grange University Hospital is now well under way. However the new hospital is just one part of a major programme, with innovative service change happening in every aspect of our service out in primary and community services too.

We are currently delivering one of the largest transformation programmes in NHS Wales and we are seeking someone to come and join us to be part of something truly transformational. This is a rare opportunity to lead the building and commissioning of the Grange University Hospital. You will be managing all Health Board internal-facing aspects of the building and commissioning in conjunction with our external commercial and contractual project managers. You will lead a small team of dedicated programme managers and a wider virtual team of specialists.

We are looking for someone with a passion for patient care and who has experience in managing large health capital projects and hospital commissioning. If you are dynamic with a successful track record of delivery, established relationships within healthcare, a good understanding of working with both NHS staff and private sector contractors we are keen to hear from you.

To find out more about Clinical Futures and the Grange University Hospital development please visit the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board’s website. It is anticipated that interviews will be held quickly after the job advert closes.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
