An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated Legal Services Manager. Working as part of a corporate team, the post offers exposure to a broad range of work including clinical negligence and personal injury claims, Coroner Inquests, Patient Redress under the “Putting Things Right” Regulations and general legal matters affecting the Health Board and its staff.
As the post holder will have conduct of their own cases applicants should have relevant experience from a claims, legal, or suitable investigatory background.
This is a challenging but exciting role. The post requires an individual who is able to work under pressure, to strict deadlines, with high volume complex and confidential information. We are looking for an individual who has excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills and be expected to liaise with managers, clinicians, patients and staff across all disciplines. You must demonstrate initiative and have an enthusiasm to get the job done. Travel will be required between Health Board sites and external stakeholders.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
