Are you an innovative nurse with a passion for improving outcomes for patients? If so have you ever considered a career as a Specialist Nurse in the speciality of Continence.
The Continence Service within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is an evolving service which thrives on initiatives in order to improves care for patients. You would be expected to undertake your own nurse led continence clinics and work jointly with other stakeholders, and deliver clinical expertise to patients and care providers who access the Continence Appliance Prescription Service. We are looking for experienced nurses who are flexible to the needs of a forward thinking service and who are up for a challenge with a particular focus on delivering the divisional objectives.
You will be a Registered Nurse, educated to degree level and you will be able to demonstrate extensive clinical experience and a sound knowledge base in continence and catheter care. A V100 or V150 supplementary prescribing qualification is desirable for this role and you must be willing to undertake this qualification.
If you are articulate, organised, possess good communication and negotiation skills, can diffuse difficult situations and are not afraid of decision making and autonomy in its entirety then we would love to hear from you.
The successful applicants will undergo a full induction programme and competency based training programme.
Ability to speak welsh is desirable.
