An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team in Chepstow Community Hospital (St Arvans and Caerwent Ward) . The wards comprise of 32 beds catering for male and female requiring periods of recovery or complex discharge planning with an element of rehabilitation.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Registered General Nurse to work as part of the Nursing team, which is an integral part of the Multi disciplinary Team and play an active integral part in discharge planning. We are a dynamic community ward caring for patients with multiple needs while planning, co-ordinating safe & effective, and sometimes complex discharges. We work alongside the integrated services team to provide this service.

The successful applicant will possess a dedicated, caring, professional approach to patient care and be flexible with shift patterns. They need to have excellent communication skills and be innovative in their practice, highly motivated and willing to develop further clinical skills.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post but not essential.
