Main duties of the job

An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join the Caldicot  Community Nursing Team as part of the  Caldicot Integrated Team.

The post is 37.5 hrs a week (Full time post) and  includes working afternoons, days and weekends.

Applications are invited from nurses who are interested in developing their career within the Primary and Community Services Division. Great opportunities are available to the suitable candidates who demonstrate a real passion for wanting to provide expert nursing care to patients within their own homes.

In Caldicot we are part of an Integrated Health and Social Care Team.

Experience of working within the community is desirable but not essential as  training  will be given  to develop appropriate skills.  The ideal candidate must be a confident practitioner who is able to work autonomously and can make appropriate decisions and judgements under pressure.

This is an exciting time for community services and we are seeking the right candidate to assist us in ensuring we fulfil the care closer to home agenda.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
