Job overview

We are looking for an experienced Medical Secretary to join us within the Sexual and Reproductive Health department . The post holder will be required to provide comprehensive secretarial support to our Consultants working between two sites. These sites being RGH in Newport and St Cadoc's Hospital, Caerleon. 

You will be expected to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work.  You must be able to work on your own initiative, use tact and diplomacy where appropriate and possess excellent communication and keyboard skills.  

Knowledge of hospital systems would be beneficial.

Main duties of the job

To provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Consultants and and wider medical team.

Works independently to defined policies and procedures and manages own workload.
