An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic Health Visitor who wishes to be part of an innovative Multi-disciplinary Flying Start team working with vulnerable families, living within Torfaen.
Flying Start is a programme funded by the Welsh Government. The Flying Start Health Visitor will co-ordinate and undertake the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of specialist Health Visitor interventions to meet the health and health related needs of the families and individuals focusing on the Flying Start Healthy Child Wales Alignment.
They will have a high degree of autonomy and professional accountability providing specialist knowledge and advice and develop professional working relationships with other statutory and voluntary practitioners servicing the same population and work in partnership with the public.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
