BACKGROUND:

Bryntirion Surgery has been providing GMS services since before the new GMS contract was implemented in April 2004.

The practice became directly managed by Aneurin Bevan University Health Board from the 1st December 2017. From 1st October 2019, Markham Medical Centre became a branch site of Bryntirion Surgery.

The Practice: Bryntirion Surgery is a modern, spacious, purpose built premises. The practice operates over three levels and is at the forefront of delivering a model of care which is supported by a large multi-disciplinary team which includes Nurse Practitioner, Paramedic, Pharmacist and Mental Health Practitioner

Our Practice has a stable clinical team delivering high quality care to patients. The Salaried GP role is paramount in further developing and shaping the service model for the practice.

  • We are at the leading edge of primary care with a large MDT focused on delivering the right care at the right time.
  • We are a Health Board Managed Practice, with a list size of 11,195 patients

 The Role: We are looking for a Salaried GP. We offer a very competitive Salary. We are happy to be flexible for the right candidate, part-time or full-time, with a working schedule centered around the clinician

 Requirements:

  • Evidence of successful leadership within a Primary Care environment.
  • Full GMC Registration.
  • Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice
  • Included on a Medical Performers List or eligible.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
