We are looking for a self-motivated, forward thinking clinician who is a strong team player with the ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and excellent communication skills.
You will need to have completed rotations, or have equivalent experience in, musculoskeletal outpatients, orthopaedic inpatients, respiratory, neurology / rehabilitation.
The Physiotherapy service prides itself on providing excellent training opportunities, being committed to following evidence based practice, ensuring we provide a high quality service to our patents. We encourage staff development through a structured appraisal system, in-service training programmes, and participation in speciality forums, clinical audit and other development opportunities as they arise.
You will be actively involved in the education, supervision and mentoring of Band 5 Physiotherapists and physiotherapy students on placement from Cardiff University.
Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) covers a wide geographical area across which you will rotate on a 6 monthly basis, covering a wide range of specialities, including core areas, gaining further experience in acute, rehab and community settings.
The successful applicant will be expected to participate in the respiratory on-call rota, weekend working and 7 day working practices.
ABUHB is well situated to allow easy transport links to the various cities along the M4 corridor, the beautiful surrounding countryside including the Brecon Beacons and the South Wales coastline.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
