This is a 10 sessions post based at Maindiff Court Hospital, Abergavenny, providing senior medical input to the Abergavenny and Upper Monthmouthshire Team.
The post will be based at Maindiff Court Hospital CMHT and also providing some cover to the inpatient unit in Talygarn Unit, Pontypool.
The post holder will join a forward thinking, motivated and enthusiastic Community Mental Health Team. There are strong links between the members of the multi-disciplinary/multi-agency team, GP’s and voluntary agencies.
Free parking is available across all Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Sites.
This position involves Regulated Activity with adults as defined by the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act (amended by the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012) and the following checks will be undertaken following any conditional offer:

Applicants must hold or be eligible to hold full registration and a licence to practice with the GMC.
