An opportunity currently exists within the Gwent Rheumatology Directorate for a committed and skilled individual to join their exceptional team. The applicant will complete the Multi-Disciplinary Team working in conjunction with the Clinical Nurse Specialists and Consultant Rheumatologists throughout Gwent.

This position provides the successful candidate with an opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of patients affected with rheumatological conditions. The successful candidate will treat patients in the rheumatology day unit at Nevill Hall Hospital (NHH) plus our clinics at Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr (YYF).

The main purpose of this role is to support the Clinical Nurse Specialists in providing advice, support and education to patients, carers and health professionals involved in the care of rheumatological patients. This post supports the Clinical Nurse Specialists in ensuring that patients with rheumatological conditions are provided with effective, efficient and appropriate high quality care and is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic nurse to join our specialised team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
