If you are someone who wants to contribute to improving healthcare services, and combine attention to detail and the ability to analyse data with enjoyment of working with a multidisciplinary team, there is a new post available working on a National Clinical audit for Trauma. The post holder will lead the data collection for the TARN (Trauma Audit Research Network) national clinical audit. This will involve collecting and entering data into the database, working with a range of health board clinical systems and across a number of clinical specialties involved in Trauma care, but also supporting the clinical lead in analysing the results of the audit, and ensuring there is a process in place to discuss and decide on actions to improve the trauma care across the specialties involved.
The postholder will be a part of the Medical Director's Support Team, which works on quality and patient safety improvement and assurance across the Health Board. It is based at Nevill Hall Hospital and will be a 1 year fixed Term Contract or Secondment, although this will be reviewed towards the end of the year.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
