We are looking for a friendly and experienced  person to join our Nevill Hall outpatient physiotherapy team.  The Senior Physiotherapy Technician is a highly specialised role which involves independently managing a delegated outpatient  caseload. The post holder will support patients attending sessions within the outpatient department, gym or hydrotherapy pool where appropriate. This is an exciting hands-on role which offers the opportunity to build on existing experience primarily within the specialty of MSK. Patient treatments may be delivered as one to one or group treatments and the service has embraced telehealth as an options for delivery. The successful candidate will also take responsibility for mobility assessments for provision of walking aids.

The post is predominantly clinical with a small element of non-clinical duties which will include supporting clinicians with admin duties, housekeeping and  monitoring and ordering of equipment and supplies. Good time management and prioritisation skills are crucial for this role, as is the ability to work calmly and thoroughly under pressure. You will need to display excellent communication skills, as the post involves direct patient contact, communication with referrers, as well as the wider Physiotherapy and Administration teams.  Documentation of patient notes to an appropriate standard, and the ability to adapt programs independently  is vital to this post.

The post holder will be expected to work towards completion of the Agored Level 3 Diploma in Physiotherapy Support.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
