An excellent opportunity has arisen for scrub practitioners to work within our fast- paced theatre suite in Nevill Hall hospital in the beautiful rural town of Abergavenny.
Abergavenny is known as the "Gateway to Wales”, surrounded by a striking mountain range; the picturesque town is well-known for its market, food festival and appealing individual shops.
We perform a variety of surgical procedures in a wide variety of specialities that include: emergency and elective Orthopaedic, General/CEPOD, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Urology and Day surgery.
We operate a 7 day 24 hour service, with the requirement to work occasional weekends, participate in a night rota and to support other theatre departments within ABUHB when necessary. The successful candidate will be a registered RGN/ODP possess excellent communication skills, be reliable, conscientious and ideally have theatre experience however all applications will be considered.
You will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to your own personal development, your profession and theatre services. We as an organisation with our newly appointed practice educator pride ourselves on investment in staff, not only in terms of CPD but also staff wellbeing.
