We are looking for Band 5 Nurses who would like the opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of skills working in a busy assessment unit.

We are looking for nurses who are committed to providing high quality, person centred care in an acute setting. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary, dedicated team who are passionate about the service they provide so it is important that you enjoy working as part of a team and have excellent communication skills. It is a transformational time for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board with the building of the new Grange University Hospital and an excellent time to join us whilst we make plans and look to make exciting changes ahead.
You will be supported through a competency based programme and newly qualified nurses will be enrolled in the Journey of Excellence Programme. As part of your orientation to the area you will have opportunity to spend time in Ambulatory care working with the Advance Nurse Practitioners. Ambulatory care is a patient focussed service where some clinical presentations can be treated without the need for an overnight stay in hospital. The aim of the service is to provide patients with the care required to treat their condition during scheduled ambulatory care opening hours.

Developing you as a Nurse is important to us and we can provide you with the experiences you need to progress through your career.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Closing date: 20th November 2019
